Why You Need a Word Perfectionist

Lauren Forest – The Word Perfectionist

You’ve probably heard the conversation about letting go of perfection.  Advice telling you that being a perfectionist can slow down your progress.  That waiting for everything to be “perfect” somehow can be painfully limiting.

This will surprise you, but I actually agree with that advice.

In fact, it’s really the best advice if you want to get your business producing income quickly.

But it doesn’t mean you can just forget about perfection.  Quite the opposite: If you’re doing business online, you need a perfectionist on your team.  Someone operating in stealth mode in the background, just like a secret agent, quietly making sure you impact your customers with a persuasive message and a quality presentation.

If you’re writing to your prospects and customers online, they’re making buying decisions based on what they see. And that means everything they see: your website content, your sales page, your ebook, your autoresponder emails, your webinar materials, and your videos – to name a few.

Your content is the critical path to getting new customers.

If it’s not making an impact on your readers then it’s wasting their time…and your money. When it’s a little too cute, or a little too vague, then you’re missing opportunities sitting right at your (virtual) door. And when your message isn’t perfectly on target, clearly “connecting the dots” for your readers, then it makes customers question its value.  Maybe even question its credibility, which means your credibility is in question.

That’s where perfection comes in.

The Perfect Formula: Impact & Quality

Copywriting that makes an impact means money in the bank because it converts readers into buyers. Copywriting that clearly speaks your message means more customers, referrals, and fans because it reflects the true quality of what you have to offer.

Growing your business with impact and quality. Now that’s PERFECT!
